How to Style a Pair of Lattice Urns at Your Front Door

Pair of lattice urns on pedestals at a manor doorway

Nothing says welcome like a matching pair of urns flanking the front door. Our Lattice Garden Urn sits beautifully on its own, but raised on the Lattice Pedestal it becomes an architectural statement worthy of a country house.

1. Measure your doorway

Allow at least 30cm between the pedestal and the door frame so the planting can trail freely. For narrow doorways choose the urn alone on a step.

2. Plant the water liner, not the urn

Every urn comes with a removable olive green water liner. Plant hydrangeas, box balls or seasonal bulbs directly in the liner so you can lift and swap displays in minutes.

3. Choose a colour that works with your stone

Olive Green softens honey-coloured stone, White brightens brick and render, while Soft Blue, Pink and Putty bring a relaxed, coastal or Parisian feel. Need an exact match to your front door? Choose Custom Pantone on the product page.

4. Light it at dusk

A single uplighter at the base of each pedestal throws the lattice pattern across the facade for a beautiful evening welcome.
